WHAT
IS SUSTAINABLE HEALTH ?
By John Green
Have you ever wondered, where your peak is in terms of sustainable health? What is it like to
be there? Have you been there?
Sustainable health and wholeness for me is an indescribable ‘harnessing
together’ of my being - spirit, soul, and body - so precious it's in my dna.
Who else but our Creator
has the power and grace to make us ‘whole’ like that? That's why it's my privilege, honor and
purpose in life to live it, breathe it, to share and to teach it.
Surrendering all I am to our Creator is the door to my daily beauty cleanse and wholeness;
then my day has truly begun and I’m ready for anything, to reach out to the world, to encourage and coach the planet
towards sustainable health.
Sustainable health has given me a deep certainty that this day, this week, this month,
this year, are all going to be the best in my life; I could not wish for you a greater joy than sharing in this.
While our planet is melting from south to north and west to east, we each have a responsibility to help in the rescue
mission, and it starts by taking care of one’s health.
Our survival depends on the choices we each make
to reduce the size of our footprint in the most sustainable way, to be a change for good, and, as Gandhi said, "be the
change you want to see in the world…because it is now a case of non violence or non existence.”
Though I have been living, breathing and advocating sustainable health for most of my life, discovering the fullness
of it was a long journey for me of discernment and discipline, over many years.
Sustainable health
involves discovering how to balance nourishing in, on the one hand, with spring cleaning out on the other, but also capturing
the miracle of being 're-harnessed' whole, restored and rejuvenated, brand new - physiologically, psychologically
and supernaturally - and, more importantly, the miracle of being empowered and equipped - spirit, soul and body - to live
abundantly to your fullest potential and purpose.
The simplest formula I know to achieve
sustainable health, and to make healing & wholeness a realistic, achievable, daily expectation, is finding the
right balance of faith, food, and fitness; i.e. staying
close to the inner (spiritual) life, and through balanced nutrition and exercise.
